St. Mary’s Church, Bundoran, Co. Donegal

This project consisted of site development works which included a new 110 space car park at a site across the river Bradog and to the rear of the existing church. A pile supported concrete vehicular access bridge linking Church Road to the new car park, a steel pedestrian access bridge, and a link road from the car park to Station Road to the north and all associated site works.

Works to the existing Church comprised the construction of an octagonal shaped chapel on sloping ground to the north of the existing Church, a new baptistry and a new access porch. The works involved extensive foundations due to sloping ground, suspended ground floor slabs, reinforced concrete columns and an intricate steel roof structure to the impressively profiled roof.
