St. Eunan’s Cathedral, Co. Donegal
St Eunan’s is a Victorian neo-Gothic cathedral found in the heart of Letterkenny, County Donegal. With its ornate exterior built from white sandstone, the house of worship is the town’s dominant sight. It was constructed between 1890 and 1900 and features oak furnishings, a marble altar, colourful stained-glass windows and richly decorating ceilings.
We were engaged as Structural Engineers on the remedial works to the Bell Tower which involves the repair and strengthening works to the existing floor structures within the Tower. This project started in 2017 and it was completed in 2018/2019.
